Sam & Brian host the best DCL show there is. They are very informative and I love all the guests the bring on.

I'm a DCL addict and we take at least one cruise a year (two in 2025 - woo hoo!). These two provide the right amount of DCL news, trip reviews, and honest commentary. And I loved the article in the new DCL magazine. Nice job!

I discovered this podcast after booking our first Disney Cruise only about 2 months before sailing. I was very overwhelmed by everything I didn’t know, but listening to the DCL Duo made it easy. I’ve just disembarked and, thanks to the Duo I felt prepared, knowledgeable, and organized the whole cruise and my family had the best time. Thanks Duo!

I am a picky podcast listener. Too many annoying things and I just can’t bear to listen, no matter how good the content. I can honestly say, Brian and Sam do not annoy me! They are well spoken, give the guest time while also keeping things moving. I like that they have a variety of guests from different backgrounds, ages and stages. I am heading out soon on my first ever cruise, Disney or otherwise, and I am listening to this show multiple times a day. Love the content and style!

Highly recommend this excellent show. It’s like being on a Disney cruise in your car. The content is entertaining and appropriate for both new and seasoned cruisers. And the production quality is exceptional.

I wish I found this podcast sooner. We took several cruises before finding this show, but better late than never. This podcast is a must listen for anyone sailing DCL. The DCL Duo does their homework! They do a wonderful job of interviewing a spectrum of cruisers, and ask them thoughtful questions that entertain and inform. I’ve learned so much from these two about Disney cruises, and the cruising industry in general. I also find them to be extremely fair and genuine.

I haven’t cruised yet and the possibility is far far in the future. However the idea of cruising is exciting and Brian, Sam and all their guest provide a balanced prospective of cruise life. I already have taken note of some great tips and hearing the stories of first time cruisers really keeps me excited about the idea of taking a Disney Cruise.

I recently cruised on the maiden voyage of the Treasure and met the duo. They so friendly and community minded and their podcasts are chock full of info.

A great podcast that both informs and entertains. Two down to earth hosts that bring on real people to discuss the good and bad about Cruising Disney. It’s especially great to hear parent perspectives given the family nature of DCL.

The DCL Duo has some great guests on their podcast! I wish that the interviewers would allow their guests to speak more without interruptions. The duo is constantly jumping in and sometimes it feels like they are trying to “one-up” their own guests. If they could improve on this the podcast would be five star!

Just listened to episode 466 , Chapter by Chapter. Best trip recap episode ever. Interesting to hear about the cruise as an experience rather than a checklist of items. Even his less-than-favorable comments were kind and understanding rather than snarky. Bring him back after all his cruises. Thanks for the great podcast.

As big fans of Disney Cruise Line ourselves, we love listening to others discuss topics and opinions related to DCL. No one does it better than the Duo!

I really appreciate the knowledge and preparation the hosts put into each episode. When they have guests on the show, they ask appropriate questions to help the guests navigate the conversation and convey their experience and knowledge. I didn’t realize until recently that they do tend to spotlight a more elevated (concierge) experience, which may not be for everybody. However, I enjoy that they feature guests with unique backgrounds and vacation experiences.

I found this podcast after our first Disney cruise this summer and I can’t get enough! Brian and Sam deliver great content week after week and their live shows are especially fun! I’ve gotten a ton of great intel for our future Disney cruises, plus it’s a just a good fun listen!

When I have DCL nostalgia or FOMO, I listen to this podcast. Listening to other people’s experiences makes me feel like I am back on the ship and gets me excited for our next Disney cruise.

Brian and Sam put on an amazing show. If you are interested at all in Disney Cruise Line then this podcast is for you. They give great information while making the show fun to listen to. Whenever I need to distress or a quick pick-me-up, I listen to an episode. It’s my happy place in podcasts and I always look forward to a new episode.

We went on our first Disney Cruise in March 2024. Since then we’ve been on three more cruises on both Disney and Royal and have three more scheduled. Clearly we caught the cruise bug. Sam, Brian, and their various guests feed this cruise addicted soul each week. The podcast feels like tuning in to old friends sharing stories with one another. I can’t wait for the next episode each week! Thanks for all the time you put into the podcast. I only hope I’ll end up on a cruise with you one day and can thank you in person !

I really wanted to enjoy this podcast. I was really hoping for a lot more Disney based content focused on DCL. What I got was some non Disney material. Royal Caribbean themed shows, really? If you don’t have Disney content to record, then don’t record or rename your podcast. Second, they discuss MCU way too much. I’m disappointed. I really, really wanted to enjoy this show. Just reset your expectations if you’re a new listener.

The DCL Duo podcast is the best podcast for anyone who loves cruising! Brian and Sam offer an honest and informative show covering all aspects of cruising. While their main focus is Disney Cruise Line, they also discuss other lines and bring on amazing guests with stories about their voyages. I especially love it when their son Nathan is on to offer a child’s perspective. I look forward to the DCL Duo podcast every week!

This podcast has THE best information. I listened in preparation for our first Disney cruise. There were so many helpful tips and recommendations. Not only id it helpful, but it is very enjoyable to listen! Now I’m listening in preparation for our next!

I’ve been binge listening to The Duo for several months now in preparation for future cruises. We haven’t cruised since 2018 and my husband couldn’t go due to work, and we’ve had 2 more children since then! I appreciate the selection of guests they have on who have shared the gamut of experiences from Royal Suite Concierge stays to being quarantined on the ship due to communicable diseases. They also share their own experiences with trip reports and their experiences are just as valid & valuable of those of their guests. It has been fun to listen to older and newer episodes to hear about changes (good and “bad”) about the line. It all makes me appreciate the experience I had in 2018 all the more (1st time cruiser had Palo Brunch-when it was still buffet!) as well as gets me hyped up and feeling prepared to make our future cruises the best they can be! Thank you Sam, Brian & Nathan for working so hard on this wonderful resource!!!!!

DCL Duo has become one of my favorite podcasts - I love their balanced coverage of cruising Disney. Its just the right balance of excitement/enthusiasm, coverage of news, and critique where warranted. I appreciate that the critiques aren’t in the form of tirades about things they don’t like and they’re presented in a constructive way. They cover a wide variety of itineraries and ensure they have guests on the show traveling in different ways - big families, families with kids, families with unique needs, couples, etc. Its a great place to get information on excursions and even “how did you do this outing on your own”. I love the coverage thrown in on ABD and River Cruising - as newly empty nesters we’re more likely to be taking advantage of those kinds of trips! Thank you!

I love the whole concept behind this podcast. I’ve been dying to take a Disney cruise and now i know where to go to get all of the pertinent information. I listened to the Touch of Disney episode and it also had a lot of great information. Brian and Samantha are my go-to podcasters for everything Disney cruises. They give the good the bad and everything in between. I value their opinion!

I am a big Disney cruise line fan. We’ve used DCL to see the world as a family. Listening to these podcasts reminds of why I love DCL so much. But it has also given me tremendous insight into the other options available. I do agree with many of the points discussed on the podcast. I so appreciate hearing about other cruise lines, different ports and different views all around. This show is a perfect blend of the love of Disney, the cruising lifestyle and the vast array of options out there. I appreciate the cruise reviews. Everyone they interview has such an interesting point of view. I hope that in the future I can meet up with Sam and Brian on a cruise! So far I have listened to at least 45 episodes. I cannot wait for the day that I have successfully listened to them all. Thank you for creating a forum to talk, discuss, enjoy, critique and share a love of Disney cruise line. Please keep it up! This is an excellent podcast for cruisers at all levels of DCL experience. We listened for months leading up to our first DCL sailing and learned so much about what to do, what not to do and everything in between. A few sailings later and we’re still big fans of the show and listen every week for insights from Brian and Sam as well as their guests. Brian’s new fascination with comparing the value of DCL vs Royal had been interesting for sure, although I’m still not convinced you’ll ever find me sailing on anything but a Disney ship! My two favorite things about the DCL Duo… first they aren’t travel agents, so they’re not trying to sell or suggest their services. They have a show sponsor that is a travel agency, but I like that they keep things authentic and their opinions balanced. And second, they’re just such nice people… interact with them once and you’ll see what I mean!

I really enjoy this podcast. I like that Sam and Brian are so different in their opinions and they are open to bringing guests with different opinions too. I love the DCL comparisons to other cruise lines. And I love to hear how to take advantage of all the hidden new cruise features on DCL. We are platinum on DCL and we still find new stuff to do thanks to your show. Keep podcasting and bringing your style!

The hosts and their guests are always a great look at how individual people choose to enjoy their cruise vacations! A real treat to listen to! This is a fabulous show and my favorite amongst many Disney podcasts I follow. Brian and Sam are engaging, honest, and so gracious and kind to their guests. I love how upbeat and positive they both are while still being candid when things aren’t up to par too. I love this show so much I always listen immediately when new episodes drop and have gone back and listened to the entire backlog of older episodes too.
